Workshop machining, arranged by us
Some jobs cannot be machined where the equipment stands. For those, we arrange machine shop work through our network of partner workshops, and stay your single point of contact from quote to delivery.
An extension of our on-site work
On-site machining is still the core of what we do: portable machine tools taken to your plant, so the equipment stays where it is. Not every job can be done in position, though. A component may be too worn to repair in place, a part may have to be made new, or the work may simply suit a machine shop better.
For those jobs we arrange the machining through our network of trusted partner workshops. We do not run a machine shop ourselves. What we bring is the same approach you get on site: we look at the problem, plan how to solve it, and see the job through.
You deal with us throughout. We quote, coordinate the work with the workshop, check the finished part and deliver it, and we remain responsible for the job.

Workshop capabilities
These are the machine shop services we can arrange through our partner workshops. Tell us what the part is and what it needs, and we will confirm how it will be done when we quote.
| Capability | Typical work |
|---|---|
| CNC and conventional turning | Shafts, bushes, sleeves, pins and other round parts, made new or machined back to size. |
| CNC and conventional milling | Flats, slots, keyways, pockets and profiles on housings, plates and brackets. |
| Gear cutting | Replacement gears cut to match a worn or broken original, or made to a drawing. |
| Surface grinding | Flat, parallel faces with a fine finish on plates, blocks and wear parts. |
| Boring, drilling and tapping | Bores, hole patterns and threads on components brought in to the workshop. |
| Component manufacture | One-off and replacement parts made from a drawing, a sample or the worn original. |
| Repair and refurbishment | Worn or damaged components re-machined, rebuilt and returned to service. |
How it works
One enquiry, one quote and one point of contact, whether the work is done on site or in a workshop.
-
Enquiry
Send us a drawing or photos of the part, what it needs and when you need it back.
-
Quote
We work out the job with a suitable partner workshop and send you one quote, from us.
-
Partner workshop machines it
A workshop in our network does the machining. We coordinate the work and keep you informed.
-
We check and deliver
We check the finished part before it is released, then deliver it to you.
Can it be machined where it stands?
If the equipment can stay in place, on-site machining usually saves the dismantling, transport and refitting. Not sure which route suits your job? Send us the details and we will advise.
